That motor doesn't exist. It's an ej20k dude. And the V6 was in 99, not the V5.

Yup...that picture looks familiar. Do you have a link to the 4 link pages you're talking about. I looked on the site but I couldn't find what you were talking about.

you're an idiot.
my V6 (which is a 1999, but that does not mean there weren't '99 V5s) has an EJ207 in it, just like the V5 does.
there are numerous clear differences between a K and a 207.

Got any interest in a wiring harness for that car that's already merged into a '99RS harness?

I am no idiot, but I am uneducated about the availability of that motor. I guess I left myself open for that one.

No, you are not an idiot, and the name calling wasn't really called for. You just didn't know something. Ignorance doesn't mean someone is stupid.

93 OBD-I...I don't think I'll have a use for the 99/207 harness. Thanks anyway Matt.

That doesn't matter. The only thing that would really matter is that you would want to get a '99+ dashboard and run an electronic speedo drive. Otherwise it's a pretty straightforward installation. It would probably shave 50-80 hours off your swap. And since I can get you the harness for less than any of the professional swap shops charge to merge one, it might be worth considering. But suit yourself. Just trying to be helpful...

Same engine in my former coupe. Same exact trans as the vin tag above as well.

Yup, we were looking at the link wiring diagram thinking the immobilizer would be a BIG problem. I thought immobilizers only came in newer EJ257's.

Sorry for rising old topic. I have ECU which came from car with immobilizer. Which 4 pins should I swap to make it run?
