How to turn my 6mt to RWD/FWD??
Hey guys. I need to turn my car into a 2wd vehicle to dyno here in town and have heard you cannot use the regular center diff welding trick to turn it rwd in a 6mt. Anybody know how to do this?

That price is kind of high. We actually sell the 6 Speed RWD conversion diff for $750. The 5 Speed for $650. Thanks.

As near as I can tell, Saker has a part to make it FWD for less than $250.

of course, that part makes it a FRONT wheel drive.. unless you mount the engine backwards!

We have a RWD spool for the 5-speed and for the 6 speed. They are $460 for the 5-speed, and $460 for the 6-speed. Both are made by PPG, so you don't have to worry about welds breaking or anything like that. Both are machined out of solid billet.
We've got the 5-speeds in stock, and I'll have the 6-speeds here very soon. Let me know if you want one, and i'll get a 6-speed one out to you ASAP. Phil Andrewtech Automotive |

Call me stupid but doesn't pulling the ebrake make the 6spd release the rear wheels, ie.. temporary fwd no? Bad for the diff or something?

actuating the e brake merely unlocks the center diff. no "disconnection" of drive torque takes place.
