Glen Burnout is okay (nowhere near as bad as the bronx). Lived there for a year... (only ex GF's car was stolen... but dumb bitch left her cell phone and CDs and MONEY in plain view on the PS seat.)

I would recommend looking south of the airport (Baltimore Washington International). Stay away from Dum er Dundalk. UMBC (Around the 95/I-195 exit) has some housing that may not be too bad, but the farther south you go the better. (until you reach DC...)

Good Luck.

Glen Burnie is ok ....just got to be real careful on which neighborhood you live in ......Glen burnie is kinda near Brooklyn park and well ......ya wantto stay away from there......I would suggest looking in the Pasedena area.....Its about 5 miles south of Glen Burnie and the area is over all safer. Some parts of glen burnie are good, but others might rival South Central or the Bronx ....ok well maybe not that bad

Rich

I know these areas really well ....if you need any help ill give you a had .....you give ma address of a house and on one of my daily drives ill check out the neighborhood for you, least i can do for another I-club member

They were building a buttload of new homes out there off of Rt. 100 back behind the Red River but I think that area is either considered Columbia or maybe its just been too long now. Glen Burnie really does have its bad places to live. A friend went to court to get out of a lease there before because of all the crap that went on in his neighborhood. Where will you be working cause the traffic at rush hour on I95, 295 and almost all the roads sucks.

Also known as Ghetto Bernie from what I know of.. I have two co-workers that live near there.. you might want to look into Pascadena (part of Glen Bernie..) The other side of Baltimore is Columbia and Ellicott City... or you might want to look into Towson (further up North from Glen Bernie...

The neighborhood has it's good and bad spots.. of all the times I drove through the place.. more bad than good...

For nice homes in the Glen Burnie Area, check out Millersville, zip code 21108. A lot of Trust Fund Babies live in Millersville, but there are still some affordable homes for the working Joe.

Yeah, I agree with Rich. Pasedena is a pretty good area. Or even Arnold which is just south of there is nice. I live in Annapolis and most of the places around here cost a little $$$, it all depends on what your looking for.

for a closer ride to DC.. MY area (Silver Spring) is nice.. if you go North, you'll hit the 400s.. go West to Rockville, expect to hit the 800 and up.. on the East of me, closer to I-95 (Buronsville) is a lot lower in prices..

Just my 2 cents
