mid 90s is ok for basketball. i agree that late 80s/early 90s is garbage aside from a few key rcs...i'd still like to open up a fresh box of 89 ud in the hopes of pulling a few crisp griffey rcs.

There's still nothing funnier than that critical analysis of his "art". He hates drawing feet, but LOVES drawing pouches.

just the griffey out of that set and mostly to have them graded. cards will catch a premium if they are in pristine condition and slabbed.

it's the difference between say $30 for a mint card out of the box versus something that is slabbed by BGS or PSA with a gem mint grade fetching $250.

No clue on the non-Magic stuff, but that seems like a good haul on the 5 binders! Lots of good memories from playing back when that stuff was coming out. That'd be a blast from the past to go through, I bet.

Not sure on Prophecy boxes, though...I don't really remember that set all that well.

All I had to pay was the price to have them shipped. So I'm damn happy with the haul.

If I sell the sealed boxes of Prophecy (going for about $90 on ebay) I'll easily recoup my costs & even be able to send my friend a nice little check.

Now if I can figure out what (if anything) the sealed boxes of Pokemon are worth.
