Talking Silverstone predictions....

I will start the thread this week.

I predict.......

Are you ready for this.......

MONTOYA WILL WIN!!!! Oh yeah baby, this IS the week he finally takes one!

The total points pediction:

1. Montoya
2. John Felstead
3. Eddie Irvine (just a hunch)
4. Micheal
5. DC
6. JV

Ralf will crash, Ruebens will be involved. Or maybe Ralf will be second since John isn't really an F1 driver....yet!

Don't forget to post pics of babes!

Sorry, but if the last two Ferrari wins haven't convinced anyone that barring a fluke, this championship is over, I don't know what will. It might be Ralf's year next year though, with Montoya nipping at his heels.

Ferrari and McLaren (especially the latter) seem to be nearing the ends of their development cycles, similar to what happened to Williams before their downward spiral. Now Williams is on the way up. Should be a good season next year, too. I just hope we can see it on TV somewhere.

Unfortunately, I agree with you. The championship is over already, I don't even care about that at this point. To hope Micheal will tank it the rest of the year and DC or anybody could catch him is futile. I just want to see JPM win one.

1) dc
2) kimi (come on! show everyone that you're better than that chili-dog eating loud mouth!!!)
3) schuey sr.
4) ralf
5) jacques
6) heidfeld

big day for sauber. mika will fail to start again, making him decide to retire. mclaren grabs kimi for next year.

as much as i hate to say it, i think that ms will win again this year... too bad... dc was having a great begining of a season....

Default I'm gonna go out on a limb this week

1. Ralf Schumacher
2. Juan Pablo Montoya
3. Jacques Villeneuve
4. Michael Schumacher
5. Jos Verstappen
6. Kimi Raikkonen

John Felstead is a last minute replacement for a Minardi monkey and puts up a respectable 12th

I have no idea why I made the above picks. I would really like to see Williams take the #2 spot in constructor's points though.

You guys think Hakkinen is gonna call it quits?? I've read if he does they're thinking DC and Panis.

Hakkinnen wont retire yet, he has something to prove, this season sucked for him, but he will be back.

I have to go with the following picks:

1) Mika Hakkinnen
2) Michael Schumacher
3) Rubens Barichello
4) Ralf Schumacher
5) DC
6) Juan Pablo Montoya

Hey Donjuan,
Yeah I had an awesome time, I was actually in your neck of the woods for a few hours, we had a lay-over in St.Louis. Maui ruled, I saw 1 WRX and 1 RS and tons of other good stuff. Too bad I missed both the European and French Gp's, but Schumi did me proud while I was gone.

<marquee> I would be

if I wasn't a Schumi fan</marquee>

Default Cool

Good to hear you had a good time. My parents went to Maui this past spring. I've never been myself, but I hear it's just awesome. Probably worth missing a couple races I'd wager.

I'm guessing you were flying TWA since you hit STL?? We've got some pretty nice new 767's on the STL-OGG flight.

The plane wasn't painted with the new "TWA, an American Airlines company" paintjob yet was it??

Yeah, we were on TWA, but I am not sure if it was any of the new planes. We had one that seemed pretty new and it had TransWorld Airlines written on the side, wasn't the same as the older planes, so maybe that was the new design.

Default Get that monkey off my back

I had a meeting with Paul Stoddard yesterday whilst at Goodwood about the British Grand Prix Seat.

I have a slight problem in that i am driving round Rockingham on Saturday so can't make it for qualifying.

After some deep thinking for a good 3 seconds we decided there is a loophole in the rules. Whats going to happen is for qualifying one of the regular monkeys will drive, guaranteeing me a quality 22nd grid slot, i can work with that.

On finishing my day at Rockingham (i am testing tires for chip the pimp, scoop coming shortly folks) i am being flown to the F1 padock club for evening hob nobbing and the oficial press launch of my F1 career.

OK, the loophole. It states in the rules that the car must be qualified by the driver that starts the race in the car that was qualified. It does not state anything about having an aditional driver in the car. So whats going to happen is one of the monkeys will qualify the car below, then come the race i'll be in the front seat with the monkey strapped behind me for the duration. The rules allow it.

Look out for me Sunday in this.

We got our inspiration for this from a meeting with Sir Stirling Moss when he reminded us of his winning tactics with Jenks in the mille miglia race. It was worth the trip to goodwood.

I predict it will rain and DC will spin out, michael will win, ralph second, me third, chilli dog fourth, irvine fifth, panis sixth.

keep this under your hat, we dont want Jean Todt protesting us until after we have made our point (or 4).

Tire testing for the pimp huh?

He must be thinking of getting rid of Bruno. That loser hasn't podiumed in a while, so out he goes!!

Try using the rear seat ejector button on the second lap to lose the monkey. Make sure you're right in front of Micheal so the monkey hits him square in the face! You may want to look into having some oil slick buttons and front machine guns mounted for the race as well. I believe they are legal on Minardi's

Welcome back Justin.

Default weapons...

Wasn't it Trulli that also had some kind of gunsight on his car at Monaco??

That would be interesting...all the cars equipped with different weapons, like a video game or something.

"Schumacher turns in, and oh!, what's this??, yes he's been taken out by Burti's homing missile...that will seriously affect his chances..."

Default Schumi Again. Little Ralf that is.

Ralf will put it all together for this race. His big brother will be doggin' him the whole way until near the end where his Ferrari will suffer a rare mechanical problem. Mikeys demise will be Juan DoggoMoChili's gain, as well as Davey Coolturd's.

Ralfie
JPM
DC
Rubens
KIMI
Heidfeld

Mika will start just fine from fourth position but get tapped at the first turn, spinning him around. His anger causes him to drive the course in the wrong direction- looking to plow his car headlong into the field as they approach with a closure speed of 400 mph. But, his cursed Mercedes engine will seize up and lock the rear wheels in time to slow his car down enough so the other 21 cars can easily avoid him. 13 drivers will manage to flip him off in the process.

Default bad wishes

I would really hate to wish bad luck on Schumi, but it would make the season far more interesting if he'd DNF a couple times instead of just running away with it like he is. But aside from that happening, what i'm following from here on out is the race for 2nd in both drivers and constructors points. DC is working on his patented choke. I think Ralf has at least one more win in him this year, so I'm hoping for a Shumacher 1-2 in the final points. Unless Hakkinen makes some kind of charge, I think Williams can bump McLaren out of #2 now that they're being a bit more consistent. JPM's head seems to be returning to normal human size, so I think they can pull it off.

GO WILLIAMS!

This could be DC's best choke to date. He had Schumi right where he wanted him and then.......aaaargggh....blechhhhh....choke.....cho ke....choke

Oh well

Now give DC a break, it's gotta be hard to drive a Formula 1 car with your hands around your throat and your jaw flapping most of the time....

Have a Nice Day?

I have a theory on DC.

He can only drive whilst he is mid girlfriends.

I saw him with his new misses at Goodwood on Sunday so he is gonna spin out, just you watch.

So he ditched the one that was in the plane crash with him? Sounds like a nice guy.

I remember reading that he ditched one or another so he could "concentrate on winning the championship." I guess this would mean he isn't planning on winning it anymore

Yeah, I think I read that too. Sounds like he just wanted out of the relationship to me. I guess it's just part of the F1 lifestyle, what can you do?

I wonder if it was a chilidog that DC choked on?

Justin you should check out the Europe and French GP threads on the board. In one of them Dave made a JPM flag that had a picture and "chili-dog" on it. We want to try to have them made up to wave at the USGP....
