Default What do ya think about this

OK so I'm a plateau kid I live in a very wealthy community so It's normal for a high school student like me to have a bomb ass car so I own a WRX with a C-West body kit, prodrive rims, intake, exhaust, and ECU. Don't get me wrong this is a very fast car by it's self but about a week ago meand my father purchased the greatest sleeper subaru of all. Listen to this 99' 2.5 RS, Full prodrive suspension w/ bilstein shocks, eibach springs etc.. to stiffen it up that much we slammed a set of 25mm sway bars front and back. all together with a the suspension mod I haven't mentioned it all cost about 5g's and then we go under the hood where the 4-core Spearco intercooler hits you like a train because of it's size. After you recover from the shock you see that it has a Custom T3/T4 hybrid turbo, Greddy Arinex intake, and piping all so huge it will make your head spin. Once you get deeper into details you see the Vishu Performance stage III ECU, the blueprinted 550cc injector and the aluminum flywheel. To top it all off a MSD ignition and magnicore wires. You turns the car on and you it feel s liek a 9.0 earthquake because of the Custom 3-inch catback exhaust thats right under your ass. After you see this car and it's perks you have to wonder how much this cost us, 20, 30, 40 grand? nope 16 inclueing taxes and licensing. How do ya like them apples?

you know i have never been fond of the plateau. the people are extremely rude, and the kids are very spoiled. I believe you started off totally wrong there. most people dont like hearing about little rich high school kids bragging about the car they didnt pay for and that you and your pops can just go out and buy a 99 rs on the fly.
When you were typing this out, were you grabbing your nuts the whole time? For some reason when guys are full of themselves they tend to grab there nuts while they're talking. you need to check yourself as you might have crushed yo sack.

And it's "My father and I"

sorry, car sounds very cool, and a very good price but damn....

Oh brother. Take some of that money your spending on your car and go and take an english and typing class.
Trust me on this, you're not gong to go very far in the How to Win Friends and Influence People Department of the NWSEC or NWIC with comments like this. Go to a RallyX or AutoX and back it up first. Until then........

Cool

Not all plateau people are rich, so please don't bash all of us. I will agree however, that most of the highschool kids around here have way too much money.

My Impreza L project is coming along nicely.
It's probably more sleeper than your RS (no hood scoop), although not as fast (yet)

Good point, but the way to introduce yourself isn't to come on and brag about how much money you have. But I still say give him a chance. I know a few "well to do" people whose parents reward them and they're real nice people... of course, they'd never post anything like that though.

im not jealous. i bought my car and everything else on it. it feels better to work for something. and you know what, if he is so excited he didnt have to put how he was a high school kid with bomb car and list his parts not necessary. sorry. sounds more like gloating to me. hew could have said my dad and i purchased this car the first few sentences could have been dropped.

Actually the plateau was designed to make california transplants feel at home....

that being said there are some killer garage sales to be found there...people just sloughing off their extra material abundance Some items never made it out of their boxes...

I like apples a whole lot more than oranges, but ripe bartlett pears are truly the fruit of the gods.

I could go for some pics, too. Being such a pampered high school boy, you must have ample time and access to a good digital camera.

All your stage III Vishnu ECU's are belong to us.

LOL Jake. Bud I don't think that was the right way to introduce yourself here on the forum. In person he doesn't talk like that . Guys he is for real. I've seen his wrx but haven't seen the 2.5rs yet cause his dad just got it.
Rallyspec you can't generalize the whole plateau as being rude and it being full of a bunch of spoiled kids. Sure there are people like that but you can find people like that pretty much anywhere.

Sure you can find people like that pretty much anywhere... But you're much more likely to find a stuck-up snobbish punk kid in a well-to-do neighborhood than you are in a not-so-well-to-do neighborhood. Kids who have everything fed to them with silver spoons are, generally speaking, less real-world oriented than kids who have to work for what they get.

I'm not passing any judgement on your bud Jake, but I'll pass judgement on the one post he's made in this thread - he came across as a spoiled, spoon fed brat.

At any rate, I'd still love to know exactly what the Vishnu performance Stage III ECU is.

What was the point of that post? Even if there was a point, what kind of tone is that? Teach this kid some tact.

I paid for my car, school and lack of mods myself, and it feels damn good.
