i honestly dont see whats not professional about what pandl said. yes price is really steep. but if thats how much they want to sell it for thats their business.

i personally feel like you are kinda instigating the issue by posting this thread up.

iming a business starting off with "hey young blood" i think.. is not professional.

i am by no means taking sides. im sure you are a cool dude but it seems like you just want to create drama over nothing.

why are you even asking a shop you hate or have nothing to do with for some parts.. im puzzled.

anyways, this would be interesting. thanks for providing us some entertainment though! sweet way to start 08!

calm down cats....

i knew he was just trying to be a smart ass, and as a customer, im not obligated to be professional so i jokingly called him young blood (since im white as can be).

But it is Ty's responosbility to stay professional, thats what he gets paid the big glory bucks for.

Im not taking this seriously, nor do i care, i'll source suspension elsewhere. This is just a heads up for all their other customers who actually like giving them their money.

and i didnt expect to get anything from them since "that bridge was burned" but expected a simple response of "no, dont have any" wether they did or not.

I didn't see anyone unprofessional there. It's not his 'responsobility' to give you the deal you want.

You seem to be upset because he didnt take your bargain. IMO it was professional for him to hold his ground and not give you a deal. I dont know if im getting off topic but I deal with customers all day that always want a discount on something and even when I dont give it to them they still keep coming back. Point being people will pay for good service no matter what the cost. And I even think $32 is SOOOOOOO much for an oil change. But I just work there

I see nothing wrong this this conversation. You obviously were well aware that Ty answers the IM's and by knowing that and him knowing you its a different interaction than if it was someone they didn't know.

You set the tone for the dialog, I think its highly inappropriate to start a thread with that title.

Have a Nice Day? Ibtl

The logic here, it does not compute.

1.) You ask for a certain part.
2.) Sales person sez they have one available for a *g*
3.) You do not agree with said price and start haggling.

Lack of professionalism...?

A brief search showed a few for-sale but none local.
So it would be as simple supply and demand or the fact "UEMV".

I'm also not seeing the problem. You asked if they had stock suspension, he said yes for $1K, you weren't satisfied with the price and got mad. Now you're trying to turn the tables on them. Lame.
