Default broken bolt doing swap

i have a 94 with a EJ20g... and i already got everything going,

but in the process of putting in the tranny i guess i was really frustrated and i striped the bolt.. and i just tried forcing it in... anyways... about half way through i snapped the nut on the INSIDE of the chassis. and have no way of tightening the dam thing. so i tried filling in the space with E-clips that just go right around the bolt and try to get it as snug as possible...

every time i start going in 1st, the tranny mount bounces fast and makes a lot of noise and shakes the car a lot.

anyways i want to try to make the mount secure... i heard something about helicoil... but i dont think that will work. since its in a hallow spot. i will post pics later...

any ideas?

Cut it open, weld a nut on the inside. Install bolt.

Cut it open from the inside silly rabbit...... The metal is not that thick, or it would've been tapped for threads instead of barely tackwelding a stupid nut inside.

Cut the bolt off first. Knock the piece inside up and out of your way. Drill a small hole up through the center of the hole and barely into the body. Now go inside and pull back the carpet to find the hole. Once you find it, cut a 3 sided "flap" big enough to work with and peel it open. Remove the cut off bolt and crossthreaded captive nut. Replace with a suitably sized nut and bolt, then close the flap. Tape it to seal it, or weld the nut in place and weld the flap shut.

Done.
