Default Delta Cam Regrind on the 2.5i

I've been reading up on the pre 06 cam regrinds with the boost in whp by 10-20 depending on currents mods and tune. There must be a difference in our cars because of the i-AVLS ... has anyone 06+ tried the regrinds? What are the effects ?

can the 06/07's even use the 05 and previous cams? I imagine they physically fit the heads (maybe not?) but with the active valve copntrol there must be something else that plays into the controlling of the valves (maybe just cam pos. sensor?) I am also interested in cams but was told by someone (i think Cobb, maybe TWE, cant remember anymore) that there wasnt a cam for 06/07's yet.

The intake cams are completely different, as the i-AVLS uses dual cam lobes and different lifter buckets.

The exhaust cams may be compatible.

If someone downloaded the camshaft specs from the FSMs on the Subaru Techinfo site you would be able to see the lifter bores in each head, the cam journal sizes, and the cam lobe sizes, which would give you an idea of what is or is not compatible.

i've been talking to Delta for some time now and they said they are working on cams for the 06+ heads along with fully built heads...but unfortunately the site they gave me to check up on when they'd be available is still listed as "under construction"...

Unfortunately, they're still all on one shaft.
