There was one Solo note in the BOD section:

MOTION: To accept the Solo Events Board recommendation regarding B Prepared. (Fairer/Gordy) PASSED

Actually, there is another solo note, though you have to look for it.

It speaks of the BOD appointing two new SEB members (did you even know these positions were open?) : Steve Wynveen (CENDIV) and Donnie Barnes (SEDIV).

Yeah, I saw Steve's and Donnie's appointments. And nope, I didn't know they were open either. The CenDiv one certainly makes 100% sense though, as Marcus is in the newly formed Great Lakes Division. And so there wasn't a sitting CenDiv SEB member.

Prolly in the next one.... on 12/4 I got the e-mail from Doug Gill that it was logged as 06-353... so it's in their hands... just probably not in time before the last meeting before the recent FT.

We've discussed it on the SPAC forum, but we didn't have our call this month. I'm sure it will be part of a larger discussion on our call in January.

Doug took it pretty seriously when I asked him, so apparently there are those who do. Seems kind of odd to me.

on smaller cars like miata's the badges do make up a larger percent of the stock weight, like at least 0.00000260% compared to a 3000 lb subaru with 1 ounce of badges it's like 0.00000208%

that's a huge advantage...sorry just wanted to inject some humor..

I'm not disagreeing with you, just saying that apparently some people actually take this seriously.

Doug told me the fact that badges were no longer pinned on would lend credence to my letter. So I guess the the 1.5 ounce badges were REALLY a big deal.

I think the letter was about "trim".

And no, not the kind to get excited over.

joel - can I write a letter to allow carbon fiber space frame replacements in BSP? I think it would get shot down..but what the hell, I could mortgage my house and send the STi to ProDrive for a complete work-over...

just kidding..

I'd rather take no news over BAD news.
