Default 2006 Front end on 2002-2005 cars?

Ran an unsuccessful search. I'm wondering if its possible (As in straight forward) to swap in the most recent (and best looking) WRX front onto the older cars? I'd imagine this would require Headlights (2), Fenders (2), Hood (1), Bumper (1), Grill (1) and headlight supports (1). Yeah, Nay?

Obviously some will screach just buy the new one, however while the new interior and other upgrades have made the car a steller improver, I'm not so keen on many of them, including the 3-spoke wheel, new seats and 2.5l engine.

Just thinking out loud really. $600 for heads, $600 for fenders, $600 for hood, $600 for bumper, $300 for rest? ~2,800+paint... ~$3,200 ouch.

I would say you have listed pretty much everything. What I don't get is why don't you like the new 2.5L for the WRX, seems like it would definetly be favored over the 2.0, you could also just get new wheels if you dont like the 3 spoke design. Saying you handle a new WRX financially.

The new headlights/fenders dont quite match up to the older mounting points (front wheel well). Your'e actually looking at a full swap of the entire body up front, minus the frame rails. Quite a big project, we've updated to the new front end for the new season (SPEED World Challenge), and ended up stripping the entire front down to the frame rails. Also dont forget a new scoop, they dont match up either.
