Return to stock. Sell your aftermarket parts. Then go on Kelly Blue Book and look up the value.
It's difficult to value a modded car. To some people it might be worth more. To others - way less. But you'll have an easier time selling it to the average joe in stock form. As soon as people see a modded car, they'll assume it's had the crap beaten out of it. |

Just check on kelly blue book all stock for 11,555k . so maybe 14k with all the mod is not bad right?

I don't understand why you say it is all stock and then list all the mods... It would be worth a good bit more if it was stock with that low mileage.

Again: Remove mods. Return to stock. Sell mods separately. Sell car at blue book value. You'll make more back on your investment that way. Or be prepared to let the car AND the mods go for the blue book value. |

mods generally harm the resale value of a vehicle not to mention, it tends to limit potential buyers. not everyone is looking for a modded STi, and many who are looking for an STi want to mod it their way. However, try and see if you can get what you want for the car first. There are some people who browse these forums who want a modded STi without having to do any of the leg work. Regardless, good luck with the sale. |

I have an 07 WRX Limited with an STi 6 speed and 87k miles. RS hood, FMIC, wingless OBP with a ton of upgrades. If someone offered me $14k, it would be sold so fast, it would make everyone's head spin. Ask $12k and sell to the first guy who offers you $10k. |

Yup, you have to remember (or learn) that any money you put into mods you most likely wont get back. Only if your car is clean clean clean and attracts a particular buyer will you fetch this price.
Happens with all cars. |

My favorite is the sticker to show where the "air" goes in
Oh yea, and shoot for bluebook or worse with mods. Or I'd give you a 30 of PBR with a couple missing. |

You say you don't have time to part it out so I assume you don't have time to wait for that "1 out of 100 buyer" who will pay above KBB for a modded car.
Maybe $9k privately assuming someone wants a modded car that is known to be abused (no one cares what you say). Now if you want to wait you can get closer to $11k. If you go to a dealer this is really hard to say. They could give you $20k for your WRX but charge you $12k more for your new car. I'd estimate maybe $8k on trade in. They'll need to spend time on it and there's a high risk something is wrong (once again, no one cares what you say). |

You have no idea how this car was used for the first 60K miles of its life by its previous owner. For all you know, the original owner was running Stage 3 with a Unichip piggyback ECU and thrashing the bejesus out of it every weekend at the drag strip before he returned it to stock and sold it to you. Your driving habits for the last 34K miles (5 miles to/from work) suggest that most of those miles were "cold engine" miles. They, of course, are the hardest on an engine. Any knowledgeable buyer would recognize that and shy away. You, apparently, didn't want to buy a modded WRX in the first place so I don't know why you would think anyone else would agree to pay more than wholesale for your WRX. |
