Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe these are the D9R model.

Anybody have photos of 17x9.5 et38 with 275s on a GD. Going back to combing threads, just throwing it out there in case someone has it. Many Thanks

I'll be putting 255/40/17's on 17x9.5 +32 this weekend and will post pics. The tires measure out to closer to 265-270

So whats widest tire set up we've seen on a stock fender 15+ WRX? I havent seen anyone run more than 275 without flares or widebody.

Nice setup, I'm on the fence about your front flares. It does have a time attack feel to it though.

Anyone know the largest diameter tire which can fit on a stock 2015+?

Right now I'm running 255/40R18 which is 26". Can I go to 27" (255/45) without rubbing? 28" (255/50)?

my gawd, what sort of supporting suspension mods are necessary to run a wheel like this? Will it handle anywhere near as well as stock, or is it just for looks? It looks amazing don't get me wrong

Nice, I had my Turbomacs on my WRX. I just sold it and now they're going on my Forester. I'm not sure I'll ever give them up.

Very interesting and nice use of the turbomacs, do you have other pics from different angles? Interested to better see the looks of the lifted suspension with the black flares.

The turbomacs look nice on yours too, I like the fifteen52 but I would not be able to clean the brake calipers, and the wheels look like a pain to clean by themselves too! I guess if you are not too anal about having the inside of the squares very clean they are not that bad to clean (and if not white too)

Dude!! Your WRX inspired me to get these turbomacs - I spent months researching the wheels that I wanted and your car was the only GR that I could find with the beefier 18x9 spec on it. Honestly they do look way better on your fozzy though, those colors were meant to be together...

Here are a few more pics from my phone. Sorry in advance for the ****ty quality... but it hides all of the rock chips so it looks better in the long run

I had to cut out a bit of the front flares and front bumper to give the wheels clearance because I still have all of the fender liners in there (re-attached with zip ties lol). I'd love to pull them out and run some goofy 265/40 or 275/40 but I live in New England and I'm afraid of leaving the CAI and other engine components exposed to the elements.

This is an awesome take on the classic color scheme. Most of the GD bodies I see running these go with white but I really like the gold

It probably was subydude i remember he also had a bronze CE28 circulating around the web about 10 years ago that they do break, jumping the railroad tracks with that 35r he cracked the wheel everywhere from the barrel to the spokes after sticking a rr nail through the wheel.

He put nothing but rotas on the car after that his name on nasioc is dan avoN7.

There are different subydudes. The one you're talking about was Suby_Dude and he was the wheel vendor that changed to WheelDude.

I joined not long after he started and the name subydude wasn't taken. I used to get PM's all the time asking about Rota wheels.

But yes, I have 335's on my car now

Yeah... Suby_Dude was the vendor account for SubyDude/WheelDude. Dan was an employee. Actually, one of the original employees, I think.

Fun fact: SubyDude/WheelDude changed the name of the CE28 rep. Rota calls it "Fighter". SubyDude/WheelDude calls it "DPT". DPT stands from Davon Performance Tuning which is the nickname for dan avoN7's house as he hosted so many install parties.

On topic... I put on my 285s last night... On what happen to be DPTs.

Thanks bud! As soon as I saw the Turbomacs, I knew they would look awesome on the GR. I miss that car, but I'm glad I could keep the wheels and use them on the Forester. The front fenders are going to need alot of work though to make them fit...springtime project
