Default 09 wrx condensation in front headlights

I have a feeling this topic was already discussed........however, I've had my WRX for 18 months now, it's got 15000K on it, aside from the poor paint quality of the vehicle discussed in another thread, my front headlights have been fogging up..... It usually occurs during cold weather, rain, or fog, while the lights are on and the condensation appears in the lover inner corners. My question is if this is an on-going issue or if it will eventually stop?? I read in another thread that this is cause by "gassing-off" of the plastics used in the headlight. I'm concerned that the headlights are going to discolor eventually due to the moisture.

Is this potentially a warranty issue??

My headlights seem to have some slight fog in them when it is raining or high humidity out. I'm not worrying about it much.

As for your concern about headlight discoloring? Moisture doesn't do that, the outer layer that protects it from UV eventually fades away from wear and tear & the sun beating down on it

Mine do it too. It could be worse. I had a 2003 Malibu, and there was a flaw in how the water ran through the channels next to the trunk, and the seals on the back of the taillights. The tails would fill up with water and short out. I had to mod the lights and add drain holes. After that, no more problems. Not that I think we need to vent our headlights.

had that "issue" when I was in Portland and Washington area. Seems like you might have to live with it.
