The Miata has been doing it all this time and convertibles are even more expensive to produce... and Mazda is a tiny company. Surprise, the Miata is also more capable than the BRZ has ever been.

Not aluminum construction.. but some lightweight suspension parts would be nice. The BRZ has economy car stamped steel control arms and subframes.. which is worse than forged steel, which is worse than cast aluminum, which is worse than forged aluminum. Stop making excuses for mediocrity.

Would you elaborate? Not disagreeing or anything(I don't have a lot of seat time in a Miata); but, most any comparo I've read, they choose the BRZ except where a turbo and topless are included. Is that what you meant?
