Good thanks. Love it. Fantastic balance of speed and driveability... Although its not nearly as fast or as explosive as my STi, it still is thrilling to feel that massive v8 spew out torque, and the power def gives me an ear to ear grin every time

It's currently undergoing a complete top to bottom detailing overhaul by me... Needed it so badly. It's starting to look really good too and I'm only halfway done.

I will be autoXing next weekend with it for the first time. Looking forward to that!!

Just the normal stuff. Interior wasn't to bad at all, so I've spent most of my time on the paint and door/hood/trunk jams.. Compounded a few scratches with some success on a couple of them. Swirl remover, finishing polish, and multiple coats of glaze, sealant, and a wax.

My thoughts exactly!!!

So do you have an E92 in your crosshairs to snag when it happens or is that still on going??

It's a shame though... Such a fine example of an STi!!!

At the tire shop getting the summers installed.

I called Midas to do the job...$90. I called the dealership...$100. I then called Town Fair Tire...$42. We have a winner! Since I bought an additional set of stock wheels, I am swapping out the two lightly curbed wheels

Town Fair Norwalk > Town Fair Danbury

When I was looking for all seasons, the Danbury story wanted $100+ more for the set. I don't even call them anymore, I just drive to Norwalk. Plus I like how Norwalk is setup: their guys only drive the car 30 ft into/out of the shop.... unlike Danbury where they have to drive your car around the building. I trust no one.

Thanks, not going to say anything till it is a done deal.

Just waiting on a deposit on the STI, and I can then purchase the new whip.

Let's see some after pics of the Vette! What products are you using?

Johnny, just noticed your post at the top of this page. Wasn't really around Wednesday through last night so I didn't get to see...erection avoided...I mean thank you for not scaring me!!

In other news, pulled the trigger on my E85 needs. Tune is set for June 2nd, so I have plenty of time to install everything. Probably will hold off on everything until mid May.

New parts list below for your viewing pleasure:
***8226; Injectors: Injector Dynamics 1000cc injectors with plug and play adapters
***8226; Fuel Pump: Aeromotive 340lph fuel pump
***8226; FMIC: Gimmick Motor Sports FMIC (black piping, black core). Should be noted that this wasn't needed, but I have always wanted to go FMIC so I figured I might as well get it over with

Maybe this weekend I'll finally get around to installing my brake parts that are much overdue

Fair enough. Good luck with it all!

I will def post some pics when I'm done. I'm taking my time with it while I still have the Hyundai to drive.

I've used a variety of products and pads so far. Your buddy gave me a Turtle Wax black car wax kit that basically only had the QD used. So I started of with the pre-wax cleaner polish from the kit on the whole car. Not bad, but not great.

Then Menzerna Intensive and Final finish polish on the entire body which had great results on the whole car except for the hood and bumper with the Intensive Polish and coarse green pad.

So I used an orange pad with #105 and then used green with #205 and Final finish on hood and front bumper with much better results.

Then a couple layers of PoorBoys black hole glaze.

I just have to finish by sealing it with a couple coats of opti-coat 2.0 and a coat of natty blue wax.
