Here's the international trailer. Watch it. Also YouTube comments say the movie is a lot different than what the first trailer would lead you to believe. Also parkour action.

Also Variety has a review already:

Nice, they even invoked "Radar Love" to bring back the nostalgic wrx commercials when it first came to the usa.

There's more dialog in that trailer than in the entire 'Drive' movie.

Trailer 2 dropped

On one hand, I want to pan this as garbage because it markets to moron Subaru fanboys that reside here.

On the other hand, I want to see this because of great cast & awesome director (Edgar Wright).

What should I do?

I'll see anything Edgar Wright does. Subaru fanboys don't get any consideration from me.

Edgar Wright trumps Fanbois, because he's at least original recipe.

Hmm, I'll watch that for not a dollar.

Kinda feels like if Transporter 4 and Get Lucky got together and made a worse movie with each other's best ideas.

I'm guessing Mike Meyers gets paid for rubber mask likeness rights and name mention in the film. What a nice way to make money and do no actual work in the film.

Stunt Driver talks about the Subarus used. Some of them WRXs are actually STis with WRX spoilers. Need to watch it and play "Spot the STi"

initial reviews are very good

expect Subaru insurance rates to climb as loser owners are inspired to recreate scenes and think they can score hot waitresses.

Only heard about Baby Driver after seeing all the good reviews (84 on Metacritic, 98% on Rotten Tomatoes). Really looking forward to it since I'm a big fan of Edgar Wright movies. I wonder if he's a WRX fanboi since there was also a WRX squad car at the end of Hot Fuzz?

That would be a good guess, especially when he decides to make a WRX the hero car of this film.

At least filming stunt/chase cars are cheap and plentiful.
