Finally saw this movie... really enjoyed it.

While I get what he movie was saying, I found Kevin Spacey's decision at the end to be a little hard to believe. But overall an entertaining story... about YOUNG love. The old fart in me couldn't help but keep repeating in my head "it ain't gonna last, it ain't gonna last. So much sacrifice for something that ain't gonna last."

I was also sad that we (the audience) had to say goodbye to the red 06 WRX so early in the movie... haha.

Great, now the Subabros are going to consider that when pricing their GD's

If I saw the car in person, I would be able to verify if it was one from the movie or not. Each one has something special done to it so me or one of the other mechanics can identify it easily.
Time to sell

And I just might consider selling mine, considering the 2wd went for that much. Mine is actually still under the knife, but it's being built to be driven. When done, it'll look exactly as it did when we drove it onto set on day 1, only with more reliable and balanced power.

Would someone who doesn't give a crap about cars but loves music enjoy this movie?

I want to see it next week, hopefully it's still in my theater.

Yes. The music is the biggest appeal, I think. At least as far as it concerns being synced with the scenes.

It's not as pop classic as Guardians of the Galaxy, but more nostalgic and accessible than Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2. There's definitely passion behind the individual song choices.

With that crappy motor and electric throttle who would think they're desirable?

It just cracks me up that this was only 1 of 5 made for the movie.

And not even the best one at that. Although, it was arguably the most fun to drive.

Oh I forgot I did an interview with a friend of a friend, for anyone interested. It's a pretty long video, but just about all the info I can release is in there.

Thanks! I look forward to watching the whole thing. Lots of good info. I didn't realize it used the R180.

Watched this on BD last night.

Was this filmed on a phone form 2005? There were more than a few scenes that were a pixelated mess.

The last movie I remember looking this bad was expendables 2...

Must be a crappy blu-ray transfer or you have a bad copy, I saw the film in the theater and it had none of those visual issues. Looked like any other well filmed production.

The skin tones get pixleated and get a bedazzled look because certain scenes were compressed too much.

I've only seen it on BD/dvd releases, not in theaters.

Possibly? Being a critic for that kinda stuff though, I didn't see any problems in the theater release. There was one thing that bothered me in the stunt sequence, but hardly anyone catches it... So I don't bring it up. But in terms of color grade, continuity, audio, and the like... It looked fairly solid from my POV.

I should also mention, there were a few sequences where we did use a digital camera... But it was usually a stunt sequence.

I didn't watch it in theater, but I have not seen this issue in theater in other movies.
It more of an issue in closeups. People's foreheads tend to 'pixleate' It wasn't every scene, but there was a stark contrast to most of the movie looking great, then a scene that looked like a gif from 2010.

I'll watch again and get a few screenshots.

Yeah please, I'd love to forward those details over to the producers/editors.

Your technology sucks. Either the disc, the reader, interference to the TV/Projector in cable, or TV/Projector itself.
