There is a strong smell of snake oil here.
Crawford claims a gain of 19whp but they don't have any dyno tests that document this. Instead they refer to a third party test that states: Quote: "The Crawford Performance Power Blocks intake manifold spacers made a big difference, the car put out 152 hp @ 6500 rpm, a gain of 4 whp. Torque was 126.2 lb/ft @6200 rpm, a gain of 8 lb/ft." https://motoiq.com/tested-crawford-p...old-spacers/3/ Eager to give Crawford a chance to explain, I called to inquire and was told that they maintain their claim of 19whp gain but do not have any dynamometer proof substantiating it. Instead they refer to the above third party test. So we are left wondering where the 19whp are. |
