Default Impreza L transmission, or similiar, for spare trans build

Looking for a phase 2 Impreza L transmission to have/build as a spare transmission. So doesn't matter if it's blown up, grinding gears, or good condition.

If it's a 99-01 Impreza L trans, I only need the trans.

If you have an RS, or WRX, or whatever else is obviously need the rear diff too. Just lemme know what you got.

I'd prefer the Impreza L trans to keep things simple.

I live in southern PA, and work in Baltimore so I have a wide range to pick up.

I might have a wrx 5 speed and rear differential if you are still looking.

I have an 01 RS 5 speed, checking to see if I have the rear diff and driveshaft still. They are 4.11 and both the center and rear diff were VLSD (original gear from my 200k RS before the 6 speed swap). I know you plan to rebuild, but synchro for first was pretty worn, all gears had no issue holding 290 WTQ so in non-turbo form that trans would probably have lasted forever...

I just want something to put some LGT gears in, but don't feel like changing the diff. If RS or WRX stuff is all I can find, I have no problem switching it out....but I'd like to see if I can find a 3.9 L trans first.

My current 3.9 L trans is holding a bit over 300 WTQ and doing well, but I'm pretty easy on it. I plan on changing a few more things and having 350 or so, and it would be nice to have a spare trans ready to toss in.

I think the one I have is from my 03 TS wagon. I'd have to double check. It's in pieces, but it's all there. If that floats your boat, you can have it for cheap. Located just north of York in Dover.

Thanks for the offer, especially since you're close cause I'm in york, but I don't think I can make the wrx style trans work with the cable clutch. I gotta stay with the push style
