Hey guys, I should be taking ownership of my 2015 WRX in early May. In the meantime I have been searching for a wheel and tire combo to replace those hideous(to me) 17's.

For those of you that have your cars already what size of wheel/tire combo do you feel would complement the car? Looking for a semi aggressive set up but not interested in rolling any lips. Car will be lowered(mild) once someone offers a spring. I was hoping to run 18's in the 265/275 range. Think this is a possiblility? Any recomendations on rim size/offset??

thanks
Rick

I'm in the same boat , just picked up my 15 WRX and will be swapping to some nicer wheels and tires ASAP.

I'm aiming for 18x9.5 Et 35-48ish with 265/35-18

So what do you think the largest wheel/tire that can be fit in without any other mods? Of the above wheels that you tried what was the best fit?

Thanks

Should fit fine with a 255 tire with no fender roll on 45 offset. Just by eye on the new STi there is still room for more tire, and they are 245s with 55 offset wheels. 255 with 45 offset will stick out 15mm farther than stock STi.

Offset means nothing without width.

Which picture is for which spec? and what tires are each spec running? Is it a squared set-up? What are the fronts running and what are the rears?

How well did the 18x9.5 ET 30 and the 18x9.5 ET 25 fit? What kind of modifications did you need to run it? And with what tires?

Interesting ... These fit I'm assuming, I didn't find the pics though. Does anyone know what size tires were installed? And this is assuming from the looks of it STi & WRX bodies are similar in fender width ... (This is in reference to my 18x10 e25 w/ 275's fitting) :

Default What wheels are those?

In the middle two pictures? I looked on rays and couldn't find those. I want for my '17 sti stock ride height. I will not be lowering it. On the first pics if this post are the wheels I am referring to.

Did any of these need fender rolls or camber adjustments or were they bolt on wheels? I want the biggest possible size without needing to adjust my camber, my suspension or roll my fenders.
