If you wanna pick up chicks, you drive a SVX. Here in Rockford there are not too many people know what one is. So I'm almost a local celeb here. Every day I get asked "where kind is it and where can I get one".

If you get this turbo working for the EG33. I will be deffinitly wanting it over the Supercharger kit being put together over at ECUTune.

http://www.crower.com/ these guys might be able to help you in your quest for monster power.

If I had it my way there would be 7.0ltr 421 pontiac super duty in my CX3.

One more SVXer checking in here Everyone in the SouthEast knows me

I'll be watching this... It is interesting... If you have the money, check out Rigoli Racing in Australia... (www.rigoliracing.com.au) They built a 700hp SVX motor a few years ago... However noone seems to know what happened to it

Hope that helps!!

ditto, I was on the SVX network and made comment on AIM to one guy about the windows...not even really bad...and he snapped on me....
I also think making a custom intake manifold would make for easier plubming of the kit and allow for more tq or hp depending on what is more desirable... ...not to mention make it possible to fit that alternator back in there

I'm not surprised the guy snapped at you as SVX owners get a lot of +ve & -ve comments about our windows all the time!

While the windows are kinda *quirky* they really work well with the overall design of the car to make it truly unforgettable.

Here's a recent pic of my '96 L:

Anyway, we digress. How's the swap progressing?

Sweet pic Chike. And no ImmortalSubie, I wasn't being a snob. I expect your surgery went well? Where they removed the tumor that was inhibiting your sense of humor?

The progess is going good, we remodified the PS bracket and the Alternator bracket, now we just need to mount the tensioner somewhere. After that is done, we can then route the IC and plumbing. The ehaust headers are be fabricated now. I'll try to get some more pics up tomorrow.

Sounds like you're making good progress.

About the headers, what size and length are you going to go with? Will it be similar to the factory EG33 2 x 3-into-1 headers? How large of an I.D. are you going with - 1.75" or 2"???

Thanks!

I think it should follow the firing order.

And a twin scroll turbo used for greater response.

TWR, try doing a video on you work, including testing.

I would like to see that design. As I stated on the SVX forum, I want to see this same engine from that era be like the Skyline and Supras. There were never push.

Now that we have the EZ33, we can now get into some really performance now.

Cannot wait to see turbo kits from greddy and other for this model. Do we hear a 400HP 400+ft.lb?

Good work again twr.

I cannot wait to hear the spool, revs, bov and the performance of the car as it drives. Its like a dream.

I think the I.d of 1.75 sounds good, but we would ned some maths for the correct flow characteristics. He would need to do a good bit og heat shielding to keep that heat there since going to 1 turbo.

I wish the jackass we have here in the Caribbean with the only svx to get serious about it. he is some yound idiot that just keep on mistreating the car.

I offered to buy it some time he talked about getting move driving out of it.

He had it part with a damage rear diff in the grass for about 2 years. Start it up and it work. now something else is wrong> i see it @ the subaru dealer now for some part.

How does these cars value now?

I would love to offer him $9k usd for it. Even less
