Default OT audiophiles, recommand me a headphone set.

Can you guys recommand me a decent set of headphones. This will be for my girlfriend, for her walking/running. My price range is $100 to $250ish.
She wants over/on the ear headphone sets. She said in-ears ones never stays in her ears, and it feels uncomfortable. (I think in ears ones with headband ones are ok. She doesn't like the ones that sits only in ears.) The headphone will be used by her iphone 4S. It would be even more awesome, if it can take a call as well.

I'm also looking at bluetooth headphone sets. Are they any good? I don't see how they can get some decent bass.

Currently, I use bose OE2. I bought it in best buy, and it is pretty good. She likes it too, but I wanted to try something different.

We samples some headsets from best buy. So far, she really liked sony-x over the ear headset. model mdrx10. They are $300. Little too steep and huuuugge. I don't know if she wants to run with those things over the ear. But it's mostly for walking.

I'm not going to bother with skullcandy or beats by dr. dre. beats were pretty disappointing.

Thanks for some advice.

get $10 knockoffs, or $30-40 klipschs. Anything else is a waste of money.

I've tried everything for running... the only answer is Yurbuds. Not so great sound quality but it will never fall out.

I too am looking for the same thing. I've settled for just going through various $10-25 in ear buds and have just accepted that they'll only last several months before a wire comes loose. I didn't know just jogging on the treadmill puts so much wear on tear on those cheap SOBs so it would hurt if I blew anything over $50 on headphones that can't take the abuse.

I've been using this one for the past 8 months and it's been awesome. Sound wise, it's pretty good. Calls are awesome and it's wireless!

hahaha.. this is for my lady. She doesn't really "run." mostly for her walk and when we travel. Even when she runs, it's more like brisk walking. Of course if she saw this post, she will yell at me. She tries.

Me on ther hand, I do like in-ear headphones. I'll use whatever headset I happen to have at the time. I only use it when I run alone. If I have company, we usually talk.
Bose ones are great in winter. It cover my ears and keeps it warm. I hate them during summer. I feel like I'm going to over heat.

And yes, I do like the sound quality when I run. I'm not training for marathon or some crazy running event. I enjoy my jogs and enjoy music while I'm doing it. I did a ragnar relay race with some friends last year. I ran total of 16 miles. It sounded it fun when my friend convinced me to run. **** that crap. It was fun for 1 leg. Then I had to run 7 miles at 1am. Then 5 mile at 6:30am again.

I have the Sennheiser IE8 (the top of the line in-ear models) and they are superb, but not really worth the price ($450) imho. Got them as a gift.

The bass and sound are amazing, I never expected in ear buds to sound so good

Rocketfish blue tooth at best buy/amazon. 60 dolla, bluetooth range and battery life is excellent, they have settings for extra bass (way better sound than standard earbuds), over the ear...will not come off while running or lifting (does she even lift bro?).

Phone calls over them are reasonable too.
