Yeah was hodling out for later in the season. But that might not happen The motor isn't looking that good on the WRX and might bring out the STI instead in semi-stock form. |

Yeah, my beater bugeye with a 2.1l and a simple EFR 6758. No aero, sitting on Feal revalved STi struts, RCE yellows, and rubber top hats. Full bushings, no pillow balls or sphericals. Full interior, AC, etc...
It's an actual street car....unlike anything in the street car class. I'll be in enthusiast class I guess |

thinking of doing the same with mine at njmp , built for trackdays and hpde but def a street car so I'd run eclass as well rules say I have to put the stock seats back in because no cage so no 5 point and that stock wheelbase thing - 4 bolts and an alignment , I'm good and get some tires that meet the tw regs after looking at some of the "street" class cars , my delusions of maybe getting on the box went poof |

Put a wing on it. Any wing. And a plywood splitter. And speed holes.

Might show up with the daily for RD1 just to get seat time around the track. I decided to take the wrap off the track car and paint it glossy cement grey. Should be completed towards the end of March.

NJMP is not too long a haul. Without me reading all the rules, can a not quite NASA legal car run? I don't have fire suppression or a log book.
Would it be fun to do if I have an almost legal but competitive ST2 car? A 6:1 P/W car. Would I be eaten up? Class? |

Glynn, their rules are pretty stinkin simple. Take the STi out and have fun. You're still full glass and front interior right? If so, you'll probably run street class. They do have some aero rule compliance in regards to undertrays and such.

Those PC windows are going to put you into LIMITED class.
That rule has been a thing people have asked to have changed since Redline Time Attack days. Guys like you come out with track cars to have fun but due to a stupid rule get thrown into a class capable of being well beyond your car's prep. With that being said, it doesn't mean you won't run well and have fun. http://globaltimeattack.com/2018-rules/ |

My dash is also too modified for Street Class.
Interestingly, my '07 "street car", with its custom TSS Fab subframes would not be legal, the way I have it lowered. Not sure if they would be legal period, even if I went back to stock suspension pick up point locations since the pick up points themselves are not stock. |

Not anywhere I go! Over $300/day.
I saw that too. Winning can't even cover your entry fee? They are going to cheap out on perhaps less than a thousand bucks (difference)? |
