Question 2.5i Tuning Option!!!

Did a search for "2.5i " found nothing. I know this is a long shot but..

is there a way to tune a 2.5i without a AP???We have one Impreza and one Legacy 2.5i and we want to be able to adjust the O2 voltage tables and scale the AFR so that the ECu is happy with Borla UEL. IF this were a 05 we would be set but sadly they are both 2008 models and the ECU doesnt like the relocation of the O2's

2005 and newer NA cars can be tuned with the open source tools.

Guys,

I've done a chit ton of opensourced N/A cars. If anyone needs maps, just PM me. I think I may have a special under my vendor name soon for people looking for a 2.5i / 2.5rs tune. Resutls yield about 12whp and 12wtq, throughout the powerband, but the response is improved 50 times over.

How do you do this. Like with an access-port or what?

Open source or cobb, doesnt matter. OS would be cheaper for the end user.

If you took it to the dealer for a recall and it threw a light, take it back and have them fix it.

Read my article on tuning the DBW system. It's easy to screw up.

Which would be the better option for a 2007 2.5i.

Tactrix 2.0
http://www.tactrix.com/index.php?pag...mart&Itemid=53

or

Perfect Power SMT8-T
https://www.perfectpower.com/index.p...gy-back/smt8-t

I'm putting a few upgrades in it, keeping it NA, and just want to squeeze out what I can

Tactrix 2.0

Going stand alone isn't really worth it when most of what you need will be available tuning the stock ecu, especially with your setup.

How are you guys getting the Image on the N/A cars? I can't get Ecuflash to connect unless it's on a Turbo car
