I don't think I'm going to add those to the list for a couple of reasons. For one, they are extremely rare. I've never seen a set in person outside of Japan. For another, we have no specs.

There are color codes for wheels? Beyond BBS Gold most people don't seem too concerned. Either silver or gun metal gray. Not much variety.

Wurth silver laquer matches most OEM silver finishes.

That's good to know! I would like to paint my BRZ wheels to an OEM silver, but was just gonna settle with powder coating them a silver that wasn't too boring, but still OEM-looking.

Thinking of picking up a set of BRZ wheels for my 13 Hatch to use as winter wheels. How much of a spacer do you think I would need to clear the front brakes?

They should fit fine on a WRX without a spacer. To fit on an STI they would need a very thick spacer/bolt circle converter.

Thank you. From what I've read they're a tight fit on the front so I figured 5 millimeter spacer might help but if you don't think I do then I guess I'm OK

I understand how the measurements are for wheels are taken.

What I don't understand is how differences in some of the measurements can effect the the fit of the wheel and the driveability of the car.

For example...I found a set of 2007 WRX wheels (offset +55) for sale. I was thinking they would be nice for a winter set of tires for my 2013 Impreza Sport Premium (stock offset +48). Is the difference too much? And could I put the stock 2013 tire size on the 2007 wheels?

Thanks

Jeff in Flagstaff

I don't want this thread to turn into a "Will this wheel fit my car?" thread. Just specs for OEM wheels, please. Please start another thread elsewhere about what fits on what.

Not sure if the data is in this thread, but I don't see hub bore on the first few posts. Might want to add that Subaru uses 56.1mm bore. Thanks.

Sigh. Okay. Since they all do, I sort of figured it wasn't an issue. But I will post that.

P.S. Subaru SVX had a 57.1mm centerbore.

This wheel is on my 2002 WRX - looks like the first wheel presented in this thread. Is it safe to assume that it's just a gold-colored rim from a 98/99 Impreza? ...also, according to the specs listed in this thread, it looks like this rim is 1/2" wider (it's 7" wide) than the '02-05 WRX rims yet it's the same weight at 16.5 lbs! Can I call this an "upgrade" rim with a clear conscience?

Wouldn't really consider it an "upgrade" but yes, those are RS wheels.

Brembos? I don't think so. Four-pot Subaru brakes, yes.

Alas, you are correct. I could've swore I saw someone post a pic with those clearing brembos, however at a quick glance it was possible it was RS Zero's.

edited my post .
