I HIGHLY recommend Dave at Speedy Rupair(303-343-3619) in Aurora. I have an RS too and won't let anyone else touch it. He is a Subaru Specialist-he worked for Shortline Subaru and now has his own shop. His rates on labor are DIRT cheap and he has hook ups for anything you need or want to have done at reasonable prices. Tell him Rafael sent you and he'll be even happier to help you out.

Thanks Rafeal, I'll give him a call up and see what he can do for me. I appreciate it.

Where in CO are you? I am down in the Littleton/HR area...

Right now I am in Fort Collins going to school, but my permanent residence is in Southeast Aurora.

At Mike shaw on 104th there are two guys that know their stuff. I know one of them has a sick ass 2.5 rs 2 door that he did all the work on. His name is Bret, I believe, he was at Flatirons, but is now with Mike Shaw.

Bret is gone until Monday, he's at the SEMA show in Vegas with Joe from Flat4.

Yeah, Bret has a SWEET black '99 RS. He did work at Flatirons-thing is, I am not sure he can offer as good of rates like Dave at Speedy Rupair, since Bret works at a dealership (dealerships/shop "chains" tend to charge relatively high rates for labor).

I'm back with a vengence! SEMA show was awesome-we'll be bringing many new product lines that'll surprise everyone. If anyone needs help, feel free to pm me or give me a call at work.

I have a random question. How important are the scheduled Subaru maintances. And does a suby dealer have to do them?

Scheduled maintainences are very important. Often times when problems arise with warranty issues Subaru will look at the maintainence history to help determine if they are going to help out. Generally, good service history helps in your favor. Independent shops tend to use inferior parts which are installed by untrained technicians (bad combination). I'm sure we could work you a deal with you on the service price, just give me a call so we can see what we can come up with.
