Being softer rubber, snow tires are even safer at temps below 49°

Just slapped my Nokian WR_G2s on this afternoon.

GRD 4theWIN!

I can't believe how much chain tire shops want for mounting tires: $37 each!
Luckily I got out of work early and was able to get down to GRD.

That's because you live in crook county, the Firestone ran by people of the swamp charge $10 per tire but you keep the old tires.

$85 out the door. And they even cleaned up the bead sealer that the previous owner/shop put on.
GRD is by far my go to place for tire/alignment services.

I took mine off 3 weeks ago. Waste of winters this winter, only really used them twice.

Summer tires come in on Monday. So here's a question... where is the best place to store my Blizzaks until needed?

I just store mine in a corner in the garage. I put a board down first then a pease of cardboard between each wheel then cover with a old blanket.

I've been storing my tires in a rack I hung from the ceiling in my heated garage 5 years ago, and they've been fine.

I also heard its best to store the tires lying flat and not to store them standing up cause it can flat spot or warp the tire.
