For the 04/05 vlimited lip, the middle part needs to be cut since it contours up into the bumper to close the gap which was created by the splitters. I believe the 06/07 model has the same gap closure, but it's smaller, so less to cut.
Here's a pic, the "bump" above the center of the lip needs to be cut/shaved down to make it sit flush. http://www.gruppe-s.com/Subaru/subext/Vlimited.jpg |

ok guys, i just went and took a few pictures. if you line up the back edges of both lips (prodrive and 06-07 v-limited/carbon)
their will be a big gap in between to two lips in the middle. Looks like what has to be done is cut the middle raised portion of the 06-07 lip so the two sit flat. Then bring the prodrive lip foward enough so theres no more gap in the middle and then trim the back edges of the limited so both line up accordingly heres a lower view to see how they dont sit flat because of the raised 06-07 portion |

Definitely going to have to try this. Anyone have any experience with this ebay seller/lip? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/02-03...item33585aac6b
besides trimming the middle piece does anyone know if this fits the 02-03 better then the 06-07 or is it the same thing? |

as long as that lip dose not come to a point in the middle like the 07 lip, u should be fine.

I believe the bugeye version of the vlimited has a flat spot, but the overall lip is shaped a little differently- to my eyes anyways. It's shape progresses slowly upwards to fill the gap, so shaving it to sit flush could be tricky. The bugeye lip seems bulkier around the center since it contours to the stock body. Actually it seems bulkier all around, so if you used it, you'd be dragging the ground. If I were to do this, and I have thought about it, I would go with the prodrive lip with 06/07 under it. |

Looks like a very nice piece and a nice price. Thanks for posting that. So it looks like the replica prodrive is going to be an ebay special? or does anyone know of any other place to get them at decent quality and price? |

Thanks JNAPerformance for insuring your quality and fitment. Do you have any pics of the piece by itself? Just to see if i will still have to cut anything.

So what your saying is, your product should be an easy fit with little to no modification for what i am trying to do with the two lips combined? |

So JNA...does your lip contour upward in the middle to follow the stock bumper lines? Or how flat is it to attach it to the prodrive replica lip?
