So looks like I'm out tonight.

Got guilted into chaperoning a fan-van up to the hockey game.

Need help. Anyone have mcgard wheel lock keys? From what I can gather there are a bunch of patterns and it would be a shot in the dark but I am stuck with having to fire blindly in the night. For what it's worth I highly recommend against ever buying any product Mcgard is making. They suck big donkey nuts!

All the OEM subaru wheel locks are McGuard. I have a set somewhere and I think I have Keiths somewhere here also... I'll have to hunt around and see if i can even find them. So what exactly broke on yours?

Oh and I'm out tonight it looks like. Been a hard winter and I'll be poor until next month I think so I'm cutting back, stupid oil bills hurt.

If you get really stuck you can always weld a nut to the lock and take it off that way. Let me know if it comes to that, I might be able to help you out.

I would have already done that but there is no room at all to weld

I'd have to see it to see if it can be done. Any pics? (I don't remember what wheels are on the car, otherwise I'd just google pics)

Autozone sells a socket that is reverse threaded that should take a locking lug nut right off. it's either a 3/8 or 1/2 inch drive, i don't remember. you won't be able to use the lug nut again of course, but it'll certainly get the job done, and the locking lugs are replaceable.
