Yeah some of the APS stuff is great and totally worth the money, their intakes are the best out there, their BOVs actually hold boost, and some of their other stuff is REALLLLLLY nice, but not really worth the extra $$$. A lot of it, while its very good, just isnt what I would call "good bang for the buck" as it costs so much more and doesnt DO so much more.
That said, you absolutely cant go wrong with APS parts, you are just going to pay more for it that you probably need to in order to reach a given performance level. Last edited by Defiant Autospeed; 01-01-2008 at 01:26 PM. |

My intake finally shipped according to my tracking #. Looks like they screwed up on shipping it out last thursday and sent it yesterday. Also, they shipped it ground when I ordered it thursday second day air so it would be here on time (before going back to work). I am just gonna buy locally now on from you Dave. That way if something does not arrive and can just come take your air compressor or something until it does.

Not after what you did to it. LOL!
Oh and my intake just got here Tess tells me, but I am at work. Never again will I try and order from an online shop. XXTuning was good at getting it out, but I still had to call them several times, and it was still two days late from when they quoted I should have recieved it. Vivid racing, I just ended up canceling because they were finally honest and told me that their suppiler had run out of them. |

The SMC kits, since you are local you are looking at 475, but the install is easier and you get a full stainless braided line. Those are available in either the underhood washer tank kit, or the universal mount kit. Which is better? All depends what you want to do. They are both progressive controller kits, performance wise will be the same. I JUST (a few hours ago) got my comp fully back up and running after the second mobo swap in 2 days I ended up having to reinstall windows/everything this time. Office is the next thing going on then I can get to my spreadsheets. I know that Borla does make a couple catbacks that come in 2.5, and they make some that are pretty much the same thing, in 3". I vaguely remember our conversation about it, what sound were you looking for? |

I just called the last of 3 Prodrive sources I have, no one has any in stock anywhere. If you find one, GET IT. They have left the country and when they are all gone, there wont be any more unless you order it from overseas.
