I didn't own it, I drove it for work. It SUCKED on road (although got mad respect/looks) but it was bad ass offroad. A lot of fun. 90% of my driving was off-road. This was earlier on in their career, now I think they get mostly bad looks.

Jeff, you've got to stop being so ****ing offensive man!

I've had this thing in situations that would make your balls shrivel up into your stomach.
Stuck in 4 foot deep mud, damn near rolled it, pulled out other trucks, etc.

how long have you had this for? Im pretty sure thats the one I was looking at buying a few years ago. Never met the owner but Dueck was acting as the middleman, even test drove it.

I passed by the kia dealership in richmond and it has more hardcore hummers than the actual one on Marine. In fact I dont think they have any Kias

He bought it new in 95' and chances are this was the same truck.
We're talking a few years ago, right?

Iirc, it was at Dueck for a tranny overhaul. The 4l85e is supposed to be strong... it's been replaced about 3 times so far...

I'm trying to talk him into doing an Alpha conversion with the Dana/Cummins combo. That would be awesome.

It's my dad's truck. He bought it new back in 95' and still has it.
I keep trying to get him to do something with it, but he just likes to jump the damn thing on his farm in Langley.

cpelton, good call on the satin black.
I was hoping to get more involved in body and paint this year and that truck will be one of my first projects. Fire engine red would be stellar too. Plus it wouldn't need major work for the color change.

Jeffie, no sad banana.
I still have platonic feelings for you.

Yes. In the most non-gay way possible.
Not that there's anything wrong with that...

I remember driving it around Maple Ridge when I worked out there, and meeting Greg Moore. He was driving one around his pop's dealership, and we just started talking. Cool dude, a real car fiend.

Then he died.

I had to say it. I used to do tours in the mountains around Furry Creek. It was amazing what the H1 was capable of.
