Diff is looking nice in there. Have you figured how you are going to get axles made up. The R200 is one of my options as well

Drive shaft shop quoted me $2k for custom axles and hub upgrades.
Also the 350z R200 is not the same as other r200's found in other cars. The 350z / g35 R200s are larger, and everything inside and out, ( even housing) is larger. I have a R200 out of 240 and the 350z R200 is just a beefed up HD unit. Going tomorrow to dig around my friend salvage yard. An nissan armada has a 9" ring gear diff. May have to see how much larger that differential is physically. But my 350z Diff barely has enough clearance from the axle hubs and the control arms, and it should hold up to the power no problem. Been looking a other v8 swapped 350z's with turbos and they are running mid 10's and acutally ripping the differentials out of the mounting locations and not hurting the differential.

I see, I have been working with Moser as they made the axles for the V8 Miata we are working on. I also have a R200 from an 08 350z from one of my friends cars sitting at the shop and it had the rear cover stud broken off due to wheel hop

Its 1.5" solid chromoly drilled out to 5/8" for the grade 8 bolt to go through. I've done several setups on rock crawlers with no issues, and thats bashing off rocks. I promise the steering rack tie rod would break first. pull the dust cover off and check it, the rod tapers down very tiny. That would break first. Actually Id put some money on it that my spacer and bolt is stronger than that factory tie rod that use to be there.

Its only 3/8" thick at the small point, i know the load is applied at a different angle on that, but I still don't have any concerns with my spacer. I saw the thread about the breaking part, I actually bought some similar for my rx7, they are cast and very brittle. More than likely that car that was pictured, was autocross and hit a hole or slid off the track, then you would expect damage like that.

Probably due to the very soft bushings, Im going to upgrade mine and put another stud on the oppisite side of the cover.

do you have enough space to run the downpipe through there? also it doesnt seem you have much space for a wastegate unless you tuned it down to the bottom. seems like you are gonna have some fun with that =)

Pictures just make it look tight, theres actually a lot of room

ooooo so you are doing a twin scroll set up, now it makes sense, i thought you were going twin turbo. why not just throw a 42r instead of that precision?

I thought twin scroll needed equal length headers though? There's no way to have equal length with the available space and the turbo in that location.
