i was a diehard carshow fan UP UNTIL THIS YEAR !!!

i attended all of the IFO's and Drift Shows with my SRT guys for 2.5 years straight...i was the king at gettin my crew riled up for a huuuge meet and i got 28 cars to show up at the IFO this year...i dunno who the guy is that runs the IFO's and Drift Shows, but he finally rubbed me the wrong way this year...it's a long story and i won't even go into it...

i would love to go out there, but i don't think any of the SRT guys are up for it...my crew expressed some anger after the IFO and i completely agreed with them...

just to let you know, i organized this event...people from dallas and san antonio showed up as well...

just sent you another PM, ...and just to clarify for the rest of TXIC:

IFO and Drift Showoff are in no way affiliated.

IFO is based out of Louisianna, and is a relatively small based organization.

"Showoff" (Drift Showoff/Import Showoff/Nisei Week) has been around since the beginning of import shows (ie. HIN), and is run by Mainstream Productions out of Cali. They use professional judges (and are flying in 4 from L.A. for this event).

Now bring on teh f4star to Drift Showoff!

Greg

...oh, I stopped by Modern Performance aorund 1:30 - guess I missed ya. UG BBQ>Modern GTG

i just replied to your PM greg, and in that being said, i'll talk to the guys and advise them that the Drift Showoff is a little different...

not sure if people are gonna be willing to drop $53 on a car show...we got a few young guys that won't be able to drop that kinda cash on a car show...

p.s.

i punished at least 7 SRT's on saturday with my mods, hehe

There's a good PDR guy in Dallas I've used before. I have the card in my car, I'll PM you the number to him later. Stand up guy, and I he quoted me a better price than any other place; $75 for 2 dings about 1/8 - 1/4" in size.

I have never liked going down to Houston but the car shows are something else. I've been to a handfull of them down there and they definitely show up the Dallas crowd. Weird that they say Dallas is getting the name for imports...I don't see that, just rice for the most part and a bunch of cocky owners.
