Default airbag light fix not working

OK so I've got the 3.3 ohm resistor and I tried plugging it in but the light won't go off. I disconnected the battery for 30 minutes but still nothing. I know the terminals are making contact. Does anything have to be done with the seat bladder sensor? The light does go off with the stock seat in it. I can't figure it out. Any ideas?

are you talking about the drivers seat? i have 3 resistors in my car, 2 in the steering wheel and 1 in the seat, What kind are you using? is it one of those really small ones from like radio shack? i had those and they didnt work, i hand to end up using three really large 1 ohm resistors. If you dont mind spending alittle more money like i did, rallysport has some that worked great from me, they are $10 each.

are you sure your using the 3.3 ohm 1/4 watt or the 3.3k ohm? they dont have the 3.3 ohm at radio shack. you can use 3 10 ohm 1/2 watt resistors (which they sell at radio shack) and it works. thats what i did for mine.
