Melbourne qualifying report...
Ferrari puts the smack down. Schumacher fastest, with a 1:26:8, over three seconds faster than last year's pole time. Barrichello second, two tenths under Hakkinen. Then Frentzen and Ralf, then Coulthard.
Ferrari was a LOT faster, folks. Then again, both McLaren and Ferrari had reliability issues in off-season testing, and given last year... Kevin

I still miss the weather down there! I can hardly wait until IndyCar in Portland. 3 months away! By then it should be warm and sunny.
Mr. Squire... If you'd been "at home" you would have missed the wonderful earthquake! And if the weather was nice here all the time, there would be no T-Bird. And that would make us BTW - I don't think you need to set your clock back 25 years when you cross into QLD. Just a solid 20 years. |

Adrian-
Are you up early or late? That post was when... 5am Sydney time? If I go to Surfers for IndyCar in October, that's just longer I have to wait to get a WRX. See the dilemma? And I was in Surfer's while I was down there. It was very nice. Its good to see the IndyCar line through town. I'll make you a deal... If you come over for IndyCar in Portland, I'll make it to IndyCar in Surfer's. Since I know you're saving your $$ for Telstra Rally Australia, I'm safe. Andy |
