Question removing airbag warning sticker?

Does anyone have or know of a good way to remove those pesky airbag warning stickers from the driver and passenger visors?

I searched through the forums but wasn't able to find anything on how to do it...

They're almost silkscreened on in the MY00's... impossible to take off as far as I can tell.

Rub it with mineral spirits, the warning label degrades quickly. Then wipe off your visors, they degrade much slower but it still isn't the best stuff to get on them.

Thumbs up

I have a MY00RS and I found that if you have lots of paticience (like waiting for the wife in the parking lot) you can catch the edge and pick it off in SMALL pieces. It won't just peal of in one piece. I still haven't got mine all off, though I really need to spend a couple of hours picking in off with something sharp and flat. Have no fear it will come of eventually, you just need to spend far more time on it than you think, might also be a good idea to pull them off and work on them inside.

It's a little scary - but you slice through the first layer of plastic, put your finger in between the two layers of plastic and...
RIP them off.

If you are slow - you will end up with crappy edges. It's like a band-aid.
Mine were quick and painless.

Results may vary - it's hard to "trust" this method. I know, I didn't at first. - Kris

I was looking at this yesterday as I was waiting for the person who needed a ride...

Can't you just swap the visors left to right? Granted you'd have to find an L right visor (no mirror, I assume) to swap to the left side. But the mounts would swivel around, and they look like identical parts. I only contemplate this because I have a MY00 and it looks silkscreened on (as previously said). I'd rather throw $20 at that problem than spend three hours picking little bits off.
