Default Best way to run wire (pic inside)

What's the best way to wire from A to B in a WRX?
I wish to wire a +12v, a ground and another wire for a signal.
Is there any way to use the harness which already exists in C ?

Note: I do not wish to direct tap off the map lights as I would like a switch at position A.

I have not pulled apart behind the glove box so I don't know what wires are available there.

Thanks

oh, please forgive the crappyness of the sketch, I did it because it explains the situation pretty well.

You don't say what year car you have but 2004s are wired for
a sunroof (one wire, green with black stripe <IGN 12v>) and
a "spot light", whatever that is, (two wires, black <ground> and
blue with red stripe <battery 12v>).

The spot light wires could give you your power and ground
and the sunroof wire (if you don't have a sunroof) could provide
the signal wire if you can figure out where to disconnect it from
the power window relay without disabling your windows.

All three wires look to be in the area you're interested in.

You've already got +12V, ground up in B, for the map lites...how much amperage are you looking for?

I have a 2003 Wagon. I believe the auto dimming mirror harness is up there somewhere with 3 wires (I don't have an Auto dim mirror) but I would not know where to diconnect it as you were saying.

In position A I would like to put a on/off switch for the power to B (radar detector)

I put an on/off switch for my radar detector in one of the spots to the left of the fog light and cruise control switches on the dash.

I simply took a switch I had at work (for a round receptacle with square push button), took one of the blank inserts in the dash and drilled a hole to mount the switch in the blank insert.

I ran the power wire for the radard detector to the cigarette lighter (as my car did not come with one, just a fake plastic piece), and brought the ground wire to the switch. The other leg of the switch, I put another wire and grounded it to a piece of metal under the dash.

As far as routing the wires, I went from under the dash on the drivers side, up through the A-pillar, underneath the headliner, and finally to the radar detector. If you have a Valentine1 the telephone looking wire going from the adapter to the VI is long enough.

Coyote, I'm looking to put an on off switch and a remote display in the center console near the mirror controls. I was hoping to run up the PASSENGER A pillar since there are already wire harness in there.

Trick is that I don't know how/ the best way to run the wires to point B....

Can I run behind glove box and up A pillar passenger side ?
Can I tap into wire harness that runs up passenger side?
Dos the harness run close to the stereo area, so I could tap into it there ?
Any Ideas ?
