Alignment settings ate P7000 SS in 15,000 miles!
Just rotated my tires front to rear. Holy cow... I have 10,000 miles on these tires, and the fronts were at 5-10%, the rears at 75%. Lots of negative-camber related wear on the fronts, nearly bald on the passenger side. I only kicked the camber out to max negative (which is only 1-1.5 degrees!) about 3500 miles ago, and the toe out to zero about 2500 miles ago. How fast is my car going to eat a summer tire? I'm going to have to look into reducing the negative camber up front a bit, I think.

What? My own experience is nothing like this at all. I run max camber on the front (which is only -.8 on one side and -1.0 on the other) and I *still* am wearing out my tires on the outer shoulder the fastest.
But on the good side, I've put over 13,000 miles on a set of Nexus including ~10 autocrosses and I'm looking to get another 5k out of them. Amazing, but then again I drive sanely on the street. |

I've got mine set to factory specs and after 4 autocrosses I'm only showing wear (feathering) on the outside edges of the RE92's. The tires now have a nice rounded edge on them!
BTW I've got 11,000 miles on them so far! |

the inside tire wear is from a little too much negitive camber along with excessive toe out. the turn in is great but the tirelife will go to sh## in a faster thatn you can say "i need to order another set of tires."
