3PM - til whenever!!!!

its that time.. to make it big once again!! Msesno (Matt) did his homework as usual.. and got the GREEN LIGHT from Trop Parking and Security to hold the meet.. so we wont have any nonsense from last year... so, without anymore delay, WHOS COMING??!?!?!?

2009.. we had roughly 80-85 cars last, even tho most scattered after the parking scene--

2008.. we had two.. and the turnout started great.. from 40 in the spring.. to about 60 in the fall..

ill be at cheesequake rest stop (JUST AFTER RTE 9S, MILE MARKER 123) for 12pm that day for the caravan down! WE ARE LEAVING NO LATER THAN 1230pm!!!! we can stop at whatever rest stops on the way down .. ASBURY PARK, FORKED RIVER.. ETC.. so just post where u will be... bring CHANNEL walkies if u have!! THE PLAN IS TO BE DOWN AROUND ATLANTIC CITY AREA FOR 2-230

THE NEW JERSEY CARAVAN WILL BE MEETING WITH THE PHILLY CREW LIKE ALWAYS.. AT THE AC REST STOP.. ON THE LEFT, JUST AFTER U PAY THE TOLL INTO AC!)

Was going to ask what the caravan deal was, havent had fun like that since my Honda days to Connecticut (marcus dairy meet)

I'm exit 98 and would like to roll down together, its fun.

Let me know what model walkie talkie you guys use, please. I have the HAM radio in the car, I can program to the frequency that you guys are running.
I'll cut down to low power so it's at least close to being legal
That is, of course if you run FRS radios(460mhz area). If you run CB's I don't have a mobile radio for that.

Motorola makes good stuff, but I'm calling them on their "27 mile range" advertisement. The day a 1 watt walkie talkie with the standard antenna, on an FRS frequency works over 27 miles is the day cows will fly.
I'd be surprised if they work 2 miles.

LMAO.. its so true..

nah they work well..i did get about, at the most. 5 miles of a distance on a caravan i was on last yr with em.. very clear, pretty solid, cant complain..
