Isn't the pano roof glass the whole way? It'll matter to the driver whether they'll be able to look up through the roof at lights or not, a la Model X.

Like the rear, love the profile, digging the front (though the non-grill will take some getting used to), but WTF is up with that interior?

I have driven a S, but not a X. In the S I had no issues seeing traffic lights. Maybe I'm missing something here.

The P has a front grill and looks better for it, this not so much. Ass end looks good.
And they need to do something about that dash, over did it with the minimalist look. |

It's very user dependent, as it were. I thought the S's roofline was too pulled down, with the A pillar and top edge of door frame too close to my big noggin. I have similar complaints about many vehicles. |

I hope they don't add a grille. Yes it looks odd because we've been looking at grilles our entire lives. If a car doesn't need one, ditch it. It will be only a matter of time before we get used to the new meta.

My brother lives 118 miles away. I wouldn't be able to drive to his house and back on a charge.
Nope. --kC |

edit - and I see your location. You have about ~10 superchargers within a ~120 mile radius of you. |

They won't work for everybody. Many people would see the extra 15 minutes of topping off on the road so they can get back home, as an inconvenience. Or if the supercharger is slightly out of the way. Others of us gladly accept these constraints due to the fuel savings we get and the lack of maintenance. So we look at that supercharger or 480v chademo as a fuel/cost saving machine. EV's and range anxiety are part of the game. I went through it, any new owner will unto you learn. You have to relearn driving habits. Some people are willing, some aren't. More open chargers for the rest of us.

what's the "supercharger station" world gonna do when there are 250,000+ more of these cars on the road?

I don't plan on road trips (it is a small sedan after all) so it won't bug me. Most I'll do is Supercharge on the way to, say, Vail once per summer. (Winter mountain trips are will remain the Land Cruiser's duty.) The Bay Area Superchargers will be an absolute zoo, though. |

Has it been discussed that this car will not come with a steering wheel? The one mounted to the car for the press release will be replaced by new "spaceship" controls. I am intrigued by this.
