Default Perrin rear speherical bearing endlinks

Just bought these from a friend they were in his 06wrx. But it seems like the upper bearing moves so easily which is bad i think. And idea if i can replace these or convert it to a bushing as i read here that these become very noisy by time

You can get replacement sphericals from PERRIN.

Did you ever think that maybe 3 are stuck in position? They should not be real hard to move around, but they shouldn't bang around in the bore.

Spherical stuff really isn't the best idea for a DD. They don't last too long without making a whole bunch of noise. The issue is compounded if the car sees any snow and salt.

I had them on my 03 when I bought it. I repaired them because they were about the same cost of OEM endlinks but they failed again in less 20k.

Hmmmm.....my Poltecs were bought when they first came out and they had a group buy, still going fine with a once a year spray of lube. Yes, they see year round use as well as salt.

Out of curiosity, Iooked up when I bought my Poltecs, it was over 13 years ago.....http://www.newtonnet.co.uk/coupe/GK-...PDF/ETM-SD.pdf

Probably, but finding a suitable bushing and installing it, may be faster/cheaper/easier to just buy a set made with bushings. The holes are likely different sizes thus requiring machining or fitting.
