No money for a downpipe. Plus I already have the catback part so i don't need another muffler laying around my garage.

hey any of u central wisconsin subbies interested in coming to the meet at Miller Park on October 3rd?? I know some of u live a little ways away, but were hoping to have a big meet, and being that Miller Park is HUGE for a meet. We will be eating at Friday's Front Row Grill and hangin out in the parking lot, then cruising downtown for some pics and stuff. So I would hopefully like to see some interest from the Central part of the state! check out the thread and let me know!

Whats everyone been up to?

Since I last posted on here, I sold my STi, bought another evo, and have now bought a 2001 2.5RS.

Anyone watch Ray William Johnson?

Some FUN driving tonight.

turns out, a 2.5RS on snow tires will keep right up with an STi on snow tires. up to about 60mph.

What about ABS? Then pulling the fuse for ABS.

That was a lot of fun. We should do it again tonight. At DuBay.

I'll be in Stevens Point on the Jan. 16th and 17th and was wondering if anybody's interested in any of my leftover parts:

-OEM intake - $20
-Front bumper beam - $20/obo
-OEM sti uppipe - $40
-OEM sti boost solenoid - $20
-OEM sti header (Exhaust Manifold) - $80
-OEM Lamco Boost Gauge - $40

All parts came off an 04' sti.

-Mong

ABS vs nonABS

from a 30mph-0, was very close, almost too close to say there is even a difference. (I believe ABS only works over 15mph, so ABS only worked for the 30mph-15)

from a 50mph-0, I was able to stop better with ABS by about 3 feet. I want to test this a bit more. I was really sure I could stop the car faster without ABS. maybe I need to try a bit more and get better (was the first night with me new snow tires on).

more testing needed...

Benben has put the car aside for awhile since it's cold out to remodel his house. I need new starter bolts as I misplaced one and then hook up the vacuum lines and seat the IC piping on the TB. There's a few misc things I have to do yet and then put the headlights and bumper all back together and find new fender liners. It then needs to be recalibrated and tuned.
