Default low tire pressure light wont go off

Its been on for a couple of weeks now. I just checked the tires, and they aren't low. I read in the manual that you have to go 20mph for the sensor to start working and reset. I drove around and the light is still on. What is the deal? How do I reset it?

Could be one of two things.

1) Your pressure gage you checked them with is off.

2) The sensors need to be reset to recognize the correct ppressure by the dealer. IIRC there is a way to adjust them if you have navagation. I'd check your owners manuals.

Did you check tire pressure while tire is cold or hot? There are about 4 PSI difference! I recently just did that due to the sudden temp change. I found that you need to drive for little while for it to turn off.

Had my light go off last week. All tires were at 27psi cold! Pumped them back to spec on the door sticker and everything was fine after that.

I finally broke down and made an appointment with the dealer. Of course the light went off on the way home today. Now I'll take it in and they wont be able to find anything.
