oil leak front main seal?
I'm replacing my crank sprocket and woodruff key and I have had an oil leak, that I could never find where is was coming from. It would drip down and blow back on the the exhaust, and smoke. Which would get some interesting looks while sitting at the stop light. Any way when i took off the timing casing there was oil along the bottom. So I thought cam seals. But when I took off the timing belt, I could see the oil looks like it some from the crank area. I know the oil pump is back there. and I believe the crank seal, and front main seal ( are the crank seal and front main the same thing?). Well give me in your input and let me know what you think and how hard this would be to replace? I do already have the timing belt out the radiator fans out, the alternator out and all that good stuff. Oh also, I had the head gasket replaced in august. The the timing belt, cam seals and some other seals were also replaced.
