Glen Burnie Meet:

Facebook Group: Glen Burnie Weekend Meets

Where/When: Every Saturday at 5PM in the parking lot BESIDE Chick Fil-A on Ritche Highway near the MVA and Target. NOT in the Chick Fil-A Parking lot. See image below for more info.

What: All types of cars are welcome. Not restricted to make or model but has a very eclectic group from every price and power level. Some people also bring their dogs. We cruise up and down Ritchie Highway at some points. We head to the Marley Station Muscle Car meets around 7:30PM. Around 10:00-11:00 we head up to the Royal Farms up the road where a lot of the local groups meet as well. And the BJs is an option as well around 1100-midnight.

I also have it posted other forums and a car meet focused site known as modmeets.com. Modmeets is focused just on car meets. It list many if not all of the meets in the MD area as well as many other states. It's still starting up but has a good base of information for meets available all throughout the week so you can feed you hobby whenever you feel like it. Here's the link to Modmeets so ya'll can check out the site. This is also where we will post the pictures of the meets when we have shoots.

Additional Comments:
We do not race.
We do not cause unnecessary noise and disruption. We would prefer to not get kicked out by cops.
We're respectable, welcoming, and do not discriminate, but if you act a fool you will not be welcomed back.

That would be Marley Station(Glen Burnie Mall) I'm guessing by Cfa you mean Chick Fil-a right?

Marley Station has a bunch of parking lots off in the back if i remember corectly? lots that are away from the stores and out of everybody elses way. that sounds like a good plan to me.

This actually isnt bad. Glen burnie is a lot closer than the waulchapel meet. Doesn't the american muscle, the actual american muscle guys meet in the marley parking lot? They usually have their weekly meets I thought

There are a lot of area in the back true. I think starting out we should meet in the front though to pull more passer by's in that don't monitor this forum. Then after we get a little more established and more people start to show up regularly we'll move to the back to stay out of the way of traffic

Yeah my neighbor is actually one of the Muscle Car meet guys. They meet every Saturday around 1-3. So I was thinking we would meet up after their meet is usually over which is around 5-6 most weekends so we don't conflict with each other. They're well established and theirs is more of a show than a meet. They charge cars to enter their lot and use the funds to go to charities and stuff like that.

I'll talk to my neighbor more about it though and see if there is any trouble with them meeting there or anything like that in case we want to do a show type event in the future??? I have some friends that are DJs too so we could even get do a legitimate showing with music and food eventually if we could publicize it enough.?

Hmmm. Let me bring it up to the wife. pretty sure it'll be a go. Anyone here mind pets? It'd be cool if I could bring my little boxer to hang out. It would give the wife something to be interested in as well! She's not big on cars lol. I'll start letting all my friends no though and see of their open for this Saturday too

Hmm brusters does sound good. And it's on the other side of the strip mall than Mission BBQ

I may add it to Mod meets. I think I'll do that for next Saturday though. This Saturday we'll have our intro meet. Gauge the crowd. Plan future events.

Oh, and vote on the location you want!

Ohhhhh that one. That's a good one too didn't think about that. They have a coldstone there too! This might be a good idea. plus I live like 3 miles away lol. You think it would get enough traffic passing by to draw attention? I actually just looked at the lot I think your talking about on google maps. It looks good enough to hold a decent number and it's right beside the road. Might be a go to spot.

Plus, free week passes to Gold's Gym Glen Burnie .

Yeah, that's a good center. The area near Cold stone is empty, plus there is the rear of the building where Dick's used to be which is now empty.

I also think Paul Blart might be a tad aggressive at Marley, so my vote is Center at Glen Burnie (GB Mall).
