Post About my Turbo Kit...full story...

ok guys, this may not be of any interest to you all, but i just needed to vent some frustration.

i took my T25 turbo kit off to actually prep the engine for when i put it back on. jumping into installing a turbo is hell, especially of you don't have the proper ammunition for it, clutch, plugs, etc.

so i'm going to upgrade this puppy as much as possible, then put the turbo back on. that's why u have seen more than a couple of "WTB" post on the classifieds thread. anyway's since you guys are pretty much "family"..(aww) and a lot of you have helped me build this kit, i figured i would let you know whats up.

i recently bought two more T25's to possibly build new fabricated kits like mine for the rest of you who want them, but that's in the near future.

i want to thank, alex(imprezer), tim prudence, turbo, subapooh, and all the other imprezidents who have helped build this kit, but it was not in vain guys so don't lose hope..*shaking finger*..lol

take care
-matt

not only does the stock car seem slow, but it IS slow, Even though it weighs 800 lbs less than my SHO, 165 hp is just not enough, for any car that weighs over 2300 lbs.

Lightbulb

i totally back kid22 up about taking off the turbo. he really should upgrade his car and toughen up the engine to handle the turbo or else he'll pay for it in the long run.

its kinda like in the movies when some guy gets this awesome weapon [ie. sword of 'destruction'], but doesn't have the skill to use it. he has to practice and refine his skill before he can actually use this 'weapon' to its full potential.

so wait til kid22 starts to 'refine' his car to handle his 'weapon of destruction' then he'll really make a mess!
