Hey I totally need front (and probably rear) pads right now. What's the advantages/disadvantages to these pads over basic pads?

It bites better than the stock pads and lasts longer (depends on how you drive it)

I have Axxis metal masters in my WRX and braking feels so much better. Upgrade to some SS lines and fluid while you are at it.

strokefactor: sorry but i completely forgot your name, i think its justin though. anyway i've got axxis pads all around if you want to know how they feel. they made a big difference even with my 4pots. they also made my rear brakes do a little more of the work.

The GC8 came with two different rear calipers. Early pads won't fit late calipers, and vice-versa.

interested... how are these pads compared to the ultimates?
I do a bit of autoX and might start road racing later this year. I haven't had any trouble with autoX on the stock brake pads tho.

hey, if you auto-x, i personally recommend the Ultimates.. but it might eat up your stock rotors faster than you think.

Metal Master wont be as harsh on the rotors and still gives your more bite than stock when you step on the brakes.

btw, i can probably get you the Ultimates too if you want.

Im trying to get rid of the Metal Master cause its been sitting in my room collecting dust... because someone on the club(out of state) ask me to get it for them, then backed out.
