The 2020 Porsche Cayman GT4 Is a 911 Killer

No frills, six on the floor, curves to die for: The Cayman GT4 is Porsche, uncut.

The GT4 is a very cool car indeed. I like the shape and size, pretty much everything about the car looks great and from the reviews, performance to match. Local dealers started carrying them from $113K to about $120K I've seem so far.

It'll be too much performance for me, but the price is not unrealistic.. just place 2 eggs into one basket.

I like the GTS version that just arrived on our shores. It's the same motor with a bit of a detune and less shouty bodywork.

My big issue with this car is that they put ridiculously tall gears in it and you're looking at about $13k to have a short-ratio set installed.

Other than that, I love it.

It's everything that a performance car should be and nothing it shouldn't be. Doesn't need ass coolers, and lane keep assist, and all the other bs nannies. This a pure performance car and other companies should listen. The busters and their CUV's need not apply.

Question

Will this new GT4 devalue the previous model?

Effin what bro? Mr. M2 and that, rubbing that sheet off on folks.
Comparatively the S55 is my GT4. Like you, let the bodies hit the, actually I shouldn’t say that in the current environment. Some weenie will think I mean it literally. Um, yes, watching depreciation and hope to see a lot mo’ of it. If you depreciate them, they will come with dollars in hand!

The general consensus is that the 781 GT4 is less raw and heavier and doesn’t offer enough incentive for 981 GT4 owners to upgrade. So I don’t think the used 981 prices will be impact as much
