Cobb Tuners in MO?
Alright so I came down on orders to move to Fort Leonard Wood Missouri in APR next year as a Drill Sergeant. I am wondering who would be a good tuner to go to in the area and if anyone had any recommendations. I looked around myself and didnt find anything so I thought I would look here. I am willing to drive but I am looking for something that is some what close... I thought about getting a tune done down in Dallas when I went to visit my son, but would it work out alright while I am in MO?
Any help would be appreciated! Thanks |

ET Tuning in Stl is a Cobb Tuner. I found them off Cobbs website. Looking around I've heard nothing but good things about them really although I have no personal experience with them

stupidfastwagon: Do you have a tune by anyone?I know due to your high altitude and dropping down to St Robert,MO is a big change but if you do have a tune already maybe you can have the tuner tweak something simple as say the AF ratio but indeed he might change other things.
P.S ill be taking a trip to FT lost in the woods next weekend hope to see some subies around! |

Hey man, all of us Ft. Riley guys go to MKC, they do a good job...Street Tunes and Dyno Tunes...we usually get a couple guys together (5+) and do "dyno days" every summer and he'll give discounted tunes and stuff for Military...not to mention Power and Light is the TITS!

Hey. Im sure some of you have seen a white 04 STi rolling around the st roberts area. Thats me :P
Anyways, Just browsing around to find a local-ish tuner. 3rd time now that I have had a leak from my fuel lines. So I want to replace all that mess of hidden lines with aftermarket rails and lines. But that requires a tune. Im currently protuned by Clark Turner (sure you all may have heard of him!) Anyways, I know he has a thing where he can tune your car via datalogs. Just mail him a datalog, he tweaks it, mails tweaked back, you run it, and datalog, mail it back, etc etc. till its perfect. Im considering talking to him about this tuning situation lol |

If you already dealt with him I believe he charges a cheaper rate for the re-tune.

Yup, just talked to him on facebook. $50 for the tune upgrade...
Looks like my ending cost for this fuel rail upgrade will be close to $900! lol |

Btw, for those of you still living in this area, just outside of base, (heading in, on the right hand side) there is a dealership selling a 04/05 (didnt look close enough) wrx or sti. WRB, wingless, white rims. Looks very clean.

It was an 04 STI (unknown miles) they wanted $16.5k for it, it had white wheels, the steering wheel was tore to hell, I have pics if anyone wants to see them, however I haven't seen it there anymore so it might already be gone
